1998 Omega Speedmaster "Schumacher" - Automatic Omega Cal. 1143 Chronograph
It's 1998. Michael Schumacher already has two world titles to his name and is locked in one of the fiercest championship battles of the decade hauling Ferrari, by sheer will.
Released in 1996 and unveiled in Schumacher's hometown of Kerpen, the Speedmaster "Schumacher" was one of three racing-team tributes yellow for Jordan, blue for Benetton, and this one - a deep lacquer red for Scuderia Ferrari. One of the beauties of this collaboration is nothing on the watch shouts Formula 1 but yet has a massive story behind it.
It's in excellent condition, this Speedmaster has a 39mm case with a deep red lacquer dial. Has the recessed sub dials which bring so much depth to this dial overall. Yellow chronograph hands to give it some color and a white sub seconds hands for legibility. It's paired on a new Uncle Straps bracelet specifically made for these Speedmasters which is why the endlinks and style fit it perfectly. It will also come with a leather band with the original buckle. Powered by the Omega chronograph cal. 1143 which holds time perfectly and all functions work as they should.
