1972 Omega Genève Dynamic "Square" 166.0081 - Jet black Dial - 565 Automatic Caliber

When people here "Omega Dynamic" most people picture the classic oval icon of the 70s. While close, this isn't that - this is a slightly bigger, stranger and quite a bit less common sibling. This is the cushion-square cased Omega Genève 166.0081.

The case itself is a whole story. A full 39x39mm across the cushion, no bezel at all just a single sweep of sunburst brushed steel from lug to lug without any interruptions. It's a monocoque case, so its just a 1 piece case. This one has a deep jet black dial with a long, light blue seconds hand that adds depth - cutting clean across that dark dial. Has applied baton at the quarters with mark white mark throughs and a date window at 3. It's on the original buckle with a brand new, custom made strap specifically made for this case design. It's in great condition all around and still have the protection sticker on the caseback. While it is slightly larger for a vintage watch, it wears incredible well on the wrist because of the bezel-less design. It's powered by the 565 caliber automatic Omega caliber which has the pull push date crown. All functions work as they should and holds time accurately.
