1963 Omega Seamaster 30 - 135.007-63 - Rare Micro Brushed Dial - Manual Winding Cal. 286
At first glance, this Seamaster 30 looks like a lovely, straightforward white dial Seamaster. But come with me, lets dig into it a bit - this reference has a micro brushed dial, tiny lines going straight down vertically and about every 7 lines there are 2 that are slightly more spaced out. It took me all of my camera and lens knowledge(which isn't much) to be able to capture it. This dial is bit a of optical illusion - it truly plays tricks on you. Depending on the light it can look like a plain white dial, then shifts into this almost pixelated texture that adds real depth without you ever quite figuring out the trick. I have tried to show some of my friends the micro lines on the dial without any luck and they kind of looked at me slightly confused - and then bam, a random light hits and the lines just pop out.
Enough about the dial, the rest of the watch is just as stunning. Perfectly symmetrical case and no date on the dial. Makes it a great daily piece. It's on the original 1193 Flat Link Omega bracelet. All around in excellent vintage condition. Its powered by the manual winding Omega Cal. 286 that holds time accurately. Happy to answer any questions and provide more pictures!
