1956 Universal Genève Polerouter 20360-2 - Automatic Cal. 215 Microtor "Patented Rights Pending"

$3,600.00

At just 23 years old, Gerald Genta designed the Universal Genève Polerouter — for SAS Airlines' historic polar route. His first major commissioned design, and the one that launched one of watchmaking's most legendary careers. He'd go on to design the Royal Oak, the Nautilus, the Omega Constellation, and more — but it all started here at the Polerouter.

Here we have a gorgeous example of a 20360-2 in excellent condition. Silver concentric dial with the dauphine lume hands. Crosshair dial. Has the bombe lugs. Case size is 35.5MM excluding the crown. It'll come with a new UncleStraps flat link bracelet that fits it perfectly and a leather suede band as well so you can wear it both ways. The Microtor 215 Cal holds time perfectly and functions as it should. For the collectors, this is the "Patented Rights Pending" movement. Happy to provide more pictures and answer any questions!
