1953 Enicar Ultrasonic 100/62-10cr - Manual Winding - Freshly Serviced

$399.00

Founded in 1854 By Ariste Racine in Switzlerland(Fun fact, spell Racine backwards 😉). Enicar became a powerhouse of watchmaking from 1950-70s. They were the official timekeepers for the mountaineers summit of the Everest in 1956 with their Sherpa line. But just like many other Swiss manufacturers, they couldn't weather the quartz crisis.

BUT they did leave us with goodies like this, 1953 Enicar Ultrasonic . Lovely patina on the champagne dial with guilloche in the middle and around the indices. The red arrow seconds hand gives it a color pop. It's on a expansion bracelet, which normally isn't my thing - but it works beautifully on this piece and feels perfectly period-correct. (Plus it's comfortable and doesn't snag any arm hair). It just had a full service on the manual winding Enicar movement and holds time accurately. Happy to answer any questions and provide more pictures!
