1980s Oris Wrist Alarm 7307 - Date and Alarm Complication - Manual Winding
Yes - its exactly what you're thinking, there is a mechanical alarm complication in this Oris. You wind up the top crown, set it in the time you'd like for the alarm to buzz - and then you leave the crown in set position. When the hour hand gets to the red squiggly hand, it'll vibrate and make a buzzing noise. Is it practical in 2024? Not necessarily, but is it incredibly cool? Absolutely!! (It got lots of wows from the friend group) Anyway - back to the watch. Beautiful white dial with thin, gold indices to match the case, the red alarm hand also gives it a nice little pop. It's 34.mm but does wear slightly bigger because of the extra alarm crown. It's on a aftermarket gold bracelet. There are some light scratches and nicks around the case. The movement and the alarm function have been tested, all works as it should and holds time great. Happy to answer any questions or provide more pictures!
